When you sign up for Palo Duro Signals, we collect:

  • Name — to personalize your reports and communications
  • Email address — to deliver reports and service updates
  • Company name — to tailor report content to your business
  • Industry / archetype — to filter signals relevant to your vertical
  • Market / territory — to scope reports to your geographic area

Payment information (credit card, billing address) is collected and processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment details on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your information to:

  • Generate and deliver your weekly intelligence reports
  • Communicate service updates, billing notices, and support
  • Improve report quality and relevance based on your industry and market

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not build profiles for ad targeting.

3. Data Sources for Reports

Our reports aggregate publicly available data, including:

  • Government filings and public records (permits, business formations, regulatory actions)
  • Federal and state databases (OSHA, SEC, WARN Act, SAM.gov, TX Comptroller)
  • Public news sources and press releases
  • Court records and property transactions

We do not scrape private data, social media accounts, or non-public databases.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

We share data only with:

  • Stripe — for payment processing
  • Resend / email providers — for report delivery (email address only)
  • Legal authorities — if required by law, subpoena, or court order

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active. After cancellation, we retain your data for 90 days (in case you resubscribe), then delete it. Report archives may be retained for quality assurance purposes with identifying information removed.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted API communications (HTTPS/TLS), secure credential storage, and access controls. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data we hold
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Export your data in a standard format
  • Opt out of non-essential communications
